Lykke | Colourful Formica and Wood Statement Earrings

These bold, colourful statement earrings are made from Formica and wood. They are lightweight enough to wear all day, and bright enough to be the first thing people notice. Each pair is handmade in my studio at Ardgillan Castle in Dublin, Ireland.

About these earrings
Lykke is the Danish word for happiness, and these earrings are meant to feel like it. The composition is soft and organic and the colours are my signature mix of bright and muted. I make large sculptural pieces from Formica and wood, and these earrings are cut from the offcuts left over. Nothing goes to waste, and each pair is a small piece of a bigger project. This also means colours are limited and therefore I only make a small amout of each design.

Care
Wipe clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Keep away from prolonged water, and store flat or hanging when not in use to protect the wood and laminate.
