Kokoro | Colourful Formica and Wood Statement Earrings

Kokoro means heart, mind and spirit. These geoemtric earrings are cut from Formica and wood, so they are light on the ear and easy to wear all day. Each pair is handmade in my studio at Ardgillan Castle in Dublin.

My main work is large sculpture, and these earrings begin as the offcuts left over. Nothing is thrown away, and every pair is a small piece of a bigger artwork. Because I can only use the colours that are left over, each design is made in small numbers.

Care
Wipe clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Keep away from prolonged water, and store flat or hanging when not in use to protect the wood and laminate.
